Estimated Duration: 14 days/13 lessons
(The last day is for completing the PERFORMANCE TASK.)

Investigation 1: 5 lessons (Including 1.6A, combine 1.2 and 1.3)

Omit the question 14 x 12 in lesson 1 and workbook page 1. In this unit we are only multiplying 2 by 1 digit.
Combine 1.3-1.5 in 2 days.
Investigation 2 : 6 days
Investigation 3: 4 days
Lesson 3.3 Instead of 15 x 13, do a multiplication problem using multiple of 10 for example 50 x 3 or 5 x 30.

  Unit 5: Landmarks and Large Numbers
Estimated Duration: 25 days

Investigation 1: 6 lessons (Incl. 1.5A, but combine 1.5 & 1.6)
Investigation 2: 5 lessons (combine 2.3 & 2.4)

3 Lessons:  More practice multiplying fractions (5 days)
